Synchronicity, at its core, is based around the friendship of
singer-songwriters Chris Pearson and Timothy Brooks. Timothy began learning to play guitar at the
age of six, Chris at the age of nine.
The two of them met in high school and an instant rapport, with music as
its soul, was formed.
The pair played together, learning the ins and outs of each other's artistic style, on a nightly and diurnal basis until Timothy ventured out to Vegas two years later. Individually, the pair played and created artistically. However, upon meeting up again after ten years, they found that the ability to complement each other's musical sound had never left them. In the way in which close friends or twin siblings are able to finish each other's sentences without faltering, Timothy and Chris are able to do with solely music.

What is the back story of your band name?
SYNCHRONICITY: "It was a collaboration and open brainstorming among close
friends for a title, actually. Upon
seeing the way we are together, and the way we play together, our friend BB
suggested the name Synchronicity."
When did you know you wanted to pursue a music career?
SYNCHRONICITY:"From the first days of picking up our guitars, we knew we
wanted to have a career in the music industry."
What is your inspiration?
SYNCHRONICITY: "Our inspirations, like with everyone else are eclectic and varied, but they cover such bands and artists as: Pearl Jam, Neal Young, Pink Floyd, Kiss, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Jackopierce, B.B. King, and The Passengers."

What do you want people to take from your music?
SYNCHRONICITY: "We want to express with our music, that with hard work, God-given talent, and determination you can achieve any dream that you have within your heart."

What are you working on at the moment?
SYNCHRONICITY: "We are currently working on putting together our first album which will be titled Synchronicity: Act One."

Do you have anything in the near future we should look out
for?
SYNCHRONICITY: "We’ll be performing several shows on The City of Fredricksburg
Paddlewheel Boat this summer. We’ll be
posting dates of performances on our Facebook page as well as any other
upcoming projects and events."
Do you have any advice for artists who want to make it in
the industry?
SYNCHRONICITY: "Most over night success stories take 20 years. Nothing grand happens over night."
