On October 8, The First Lady, wearing a dress by student designer named Chelsea Chen, held the White House first ever Fashion Education Workshop co-hosted by American Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.
"A solid education and the willingness to work hard is really at the core of what it’s going to take to achieve your goals: education and hard work. It’s that simple."
The first Lady addressed 150 students in the East Room of the White House, aspiring to be fashion designers from across the nation to promote fashion education. Famous models like Naomi Campbell to designers them self like Phillip Lim, were in attends to support this positive workshop.
