R-tistic Swagga was founded by Head designer Diana E. Gottschalk-Miller in 2011. R-tistic is a brand that captures what expression is. It gives you that out of the box thinking type gear to stand out as being versatile. Even though R-tistic Swagga is operated in Washington, DC, it shines that Cali free spirit vibe the creator brings with her Californian roots.
Diana E. Gottschalk-Miller, growing up in San Francisco California, she was always surrounded by something unique and creative. Weather it was recycled art, murals or the many structures at the famous Golden Gate parks and Pier 39. But little did she know her own backyard would be the spark to start her on the path to what now is a rising international fashion brand.
At the Age of 27, being a single mother of four children, she is on her way to the top with R-tistic Swagga with much more then just a clothing line. This brand not only expresses art through fashion but it also has a voice. Diana created S.O.S. (Speaking Over Silence) an anti-bullying campaign, because her own son was getting bullied and knew this needed to be stop. When she looked into this matter deeper, the stats on bullying amazed her. The number of kids missing school due to bullying were astonishing. And at that moment, she knew R-tistic Swagga would be her platform to stand against adolescent bullying.
